An ongoing treat-and-resect veterinary clinical trial is investigating the safety and feasibility of histotripsy to ablate brain tumors through an open cranial window. Additionally, an acoustically permeable cranial implant is being investigated in combination with histotripsy therapy and ultrasound imaging for intracranial applications.
